Pancreatic Cancer Events in Adelaide - Avner Foundation
Our 7th annual Adelaide “Put Your Foot Down” walk is now open for registrations. The walk will take place on Sunday, November 4 at Henley Beach. This is our last walk for 2018 and a very special one for the Foundation as it is the only walk in November, which is World Pancreatic Cancer Month.
Once again we will set up on Grange Jetty Reserve (adjacent to the Grange Jetty Cafe) and the scenic 4km walk will take our walkers along the Esplanade of Henley Beach.
Every year the help of our generous corporate sponsors enables us to keep our costs to a minimum. We are hugely grateful to Woolworths, Coca-Cola Amatil, Wellcom Worldwide, Beak & Sons, muk Haircare and Red Jelly for their ongoing support which allows us to maximise the amount of money we are able to direct to medical research.

To make things simpler, we’ve altered our registration process - it is only $25 for Adults to register and children under 16 are now free. If you would like to walk as part of a team you can set your team up when you register.
The event begins at 10.00am but the fun starts from 9.00am when our sign in desk opens. Get in early to purchase some merchandise or grab something delicious to eat or drink.
On the day
Eat!
Tasty bacon and egg rolls, delicious Beak & Sons sausage sandwiches will be on sale all throughout the day so make sure you bring a healthy appetite with you. Our own Deep Spring Avner water and Deep Spring flavoured mineral water will also be on sale for all our thirsty walkers.
Support!
There will be a range of merchandise available including Put Your Foot Down caps, t-shirts, dog leads and Avner bangles. Our brand new “walk” socks will also be on sale for the first time ever.
All proceeds from the sale of our merchandise go towards increasing awareness and funding vital Pancreatic Cancer research so it is the perfect excuse to spoil yourself.

Purple is the international colour of Pancreatic Cancer so show your support and make sure you dress up in your most eye-catching purple outfit!
