Australian Pancreatic Cancer Genome Initiative
The Australian Pancreatic Cancer Genome Initiative (APGI) is part of the International Cancer Genome Consortium, a worldwide collaborative effort to catalogue the genomic and epigenomic abnormalities in the top 50 Cancers. Each country is addressing a different cancer with Australia focusing on pancreatic cancer. Our funding for the Garvan Institute contributes towards this hugely important Initiative.

The Lustgarten Foundation (USA)
The Lustgarten Foundation supports pancreatic cancer research to advance the science and medicine related to this disease. It provides accurate, free information to patients and caregivers.

Canrefer is an online service of the Cancer Institute NSW with a free NSW and ACT cancer directory. Users can search by location or cancer type (select Upper Gastrointestinal for pancreatic cancer) for up-to-date information on:

- Cancer services

Nursing service for pancreatic cancer patients and their families
The Centre for Community-Driven Research have a free nursing service for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. They allow you to book in a time with a nurse, who will help you navigate the services available and make sure that you have a good care plan in place. It is a phone service and is available to anyone with pancreatic cancer or their family in Australia.

Genetic testing clinics
Family cancer clinics can provide information and an assessment of your family history of cancer, specifically:
- A personalised level of cancer risk
- Recommendations regarding how people can manage any increased cancer risk
- Understanding how a hereditary gene may be involved in influencing their family history with cancer.
